Money Monday

I'm not sure if there's another way to say it.

If you want something and you don't have enough money to buy it, you probably don't need to buy it.

I know. It's hard. For help, try here or here.

It really is possible to just say no.

We've learned it and lived it and yes, the option does occasionally still look shiny and nice.

But we know it's a trap.

this is a very hard lesson...but one well worth it!
overspending is so so easy to do (and feels great at the time) but living in financial freedom feels SOOOO much better!
Good for you for learning so early in life.

Amen, sister! I grew up with a dad who preached the 'no debt' speech frequently. Luckily it stuck. If we can't pay for it with cash, we don't own it. Except for that small thing, what's it called again, Oh Yes, mortgage.
