Today Patience was sick so we had to stay home, and you had to leave. her. alone.
It was hard for you at first, but after a few suggestions from me you decided to do a puzzle. You chose a 200 piece puzzle labeled for ages 8+ (twice the size of anything you've put together before, and quite a bit more complicated.) I encouraged you to do it, thinking you'd lose interest in no time but you might as well give it a shot before moving on to something else.
Sustained by The Muppets soundtrack, a lunch break, a hot chocolate break, and a perseverance I've not before seen from you, you persisted through this puzzle for seven hours, never complaining, working steady, proud to show your sisters what you'd done when they got home.
