An Update.

Hey Friends.  I just wanted to take a minute to say THANK YOU to every person who has taken the time to ask me about Zambia and Poetice in the last few weeks.  And also a huge THANK YOU to those of you who've given gifts large and small in response to this post.

This trip was a last minute decision for me, and that's hard, because I'm a planner.  But it's coming together and things are in motion.

Much like waiting for a baby to be born, I'm getting things ready, and I've started having weird "Zambia Dreams." This trip will cost around $3500.  My goal is to raise at least $3000 by July 31.  As of today I'm halfway there (again- THANK YOU!)

Would you consider partnering with us for this trip?  No gift is too small (really), and I can tell you that the work Poetice is doing in Zambia is eternal and beautiful- I've seen it with my own eyes.  I can't wait to bring back pictures and stories to share with you.  You can read all about my first trip to Zambia here.

There are two ways to give:

1. You can give quickly and securely online by visiting this link.

2. If you'd like to send a gift directly to Poetice for a tax deductible donation you can do so by writing a check to Poetice International with the code PIT-0813-THRA-MEKO in the memo. Please do not write my name on the check for tax purposes.

You can send your tax deductible gift to:
