Inspired.

I created this (intentionally) out of focus shot on a walk last week, when I (intentionally) placed myself in the middle of nowhere on a sunny, warm (33 degrees) winter's day.

I loved the way the Caribbean blue sky met with the bright white horizon of the frozen South Dakota tundra, and felt inspired to create something a little bit O'Keeffe.

Oooh I love it! It also reminds me of a happier Rothko.

Yes, just what I was going to say, Rothko!

I agree- certainly Rothko-esque. The colors, and the way they blended together, reminded me of O'Keeffe instantly in the moment, but, you're right. All around, Rothko is a better comparison. But yes, a "happier" one. Lines, but, with a brighter, lighter feeling....
