Have You Ever Spelled "Jeebies"?

Our girls have never been afraid of dirty things, or things with more legs than they themselves posses. They might even jump at a spider or a cricket in house, but three minutes later they are capturing it in a toy cup and parading it around the joint before slamming it down in a toy skillet to cook up some "lunch", before transforming it into a "baby" and carrying it around delicately and showing it to anyone who'd come to adore their many-legged "offspring".

Our girls, except Lily- who has nothing to do with many-legged foolishness, and barely even can stand walking in the grass sans shoes.

She's my girl, for sure. I'm glad I've got one of those, when it comes to the many-legged department.

Not only is it nice to be understood, but I can use her comfort level as my excuse to walk far, far away from all many-legged treasures of creation, without confessing my own creeped-out heeby-jeebies.

Whew.

I used to catch frogs when I was little. Now I can't even imagine!

What a great photo. . .I love how her finger is holding onto the toads fingers (that's probably not what they're called, but you know what I mean :) )

That is cute! I SOOOO understand your undesired guest syndrome. I despise the things that are not belonging to my home coming for a visit. That is the more then four legged kind anyways......well and only the four legged ones we EXPECT to see in our house.
My daughter shares in this. THANK the Lord! I am not sure I would be very gracious if she were to bring something like that to me to admire.
I know this is sort of random, but I adore (who ever is in the pictures) thumb nail! WAY TO CUTE!

Oh, I toadlly agree! lol. I try to stay calm with the many-leggeds are aroung, so it doesn't rub off on the little ones, but sheesh - they really could stay away from me and I'd be just fine with that!

Can I tell you a funny story about this - quick? One day a daycare dad comes over to pick up his son and there is a spider above the door - so I ask him, politely, with a tissue in hand, if he could please just get that quick, since I couldn't reach. He ran into my kitchen screaming about how he "doesn't do spiders", and I had to drag a kitchen chair over and get it myself. I couldn't believe it!
