Out of the Mouths of Babes

O be careful little eyes what you see
O be careful little eyes what you see
There's a Father up above
And He's looking down in love
So, be careful little eyes what you see

We learn a new song every Monday. When we were learning this one yesterday, before we'd sung it, I asked the girls what it means to be careful for what you see, and why we would need to.

After a moment's pondering on the question, my sweet little girl looked at me with intensity and informed me "It's really important to watch out for what you see because if there's a lion or a bear you need to run away so it doesn't get you!"

Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8

Preach it, Baby Girl.

Don't make yourself a target.

Ahh, yes. The simplicity of life through a child's view. Why do we have to loose that?

So sweet and so pure! They really do have it so simple and so figured out, I need to notice it more.

It's amazing how much I'm learning from God about Him and myself through my kids.

I hope you live in a carnivore free neighborhood!
