I love ambiance. I'm a sucker for ambiance. Even when no one else with me cares, I like to make a little ambiance.

Music for the mood- Jazz, Classical, Worshipful, Folk, Trippy, whatever I'm feeling. iTunes radio is awesome for this. I recently discovered birdsong radio- the sound of real birds chirping and cooing, 24 hours a day. Ahhh... opening up the windows to let in the cooler near-fall breezes, listening to the birds, outside, and birds iTuned... really, you forget that they aren't really "real". Oh, I love it.

I love a nice candle, flickering and serene, while I make dinner or read a book.

The scent of a great candle, vanilla and pumpkin spice are personal favorites, or coffee brewing, or the scent of a tasty meal or special snack in the oven...oh, I love good smells.

I love a beautifully set table, and food served up in a "nice" dish or on a cool plate. Any.thing tastes better when it's presented with even just a little care.

What do you love when you want a little ambiance?

I'm totally into using nice (matching) dishes. I also love having candles lit and a little Norah Jones in the background.

Andrea Bocelli music! My favorite thing to relax is to get a bunch of pillows and a big down comfortor and snuggle up. At Christmas time we like to cuddle on the couch and stare at our Christmas tree lights and listen to Christmas music.

Lighting, sometimes music - but not always, and flowers. Always flowers.

Oh, and a clean house goes a long way in creating ambiance, for me...

A good smelling candle, preferably something that smells like something is baking, lighting and pretty dishes.

Hmmm...I agree with all of the above and what you said.

However, I'm happy lately if the house is picked up and you can't see any cobwebs from where you're sitting.

I enjoy neatness! So I feel good when things are tidy. I also really enjoy candles and in the winter I have 1 burning all the time...usually 1 in every room! I, too, enjoy the smell of food baking. Having the right lighting is important to me. Whether it's bright or darker...whatever sets a cozy mood at the time.
