Weird Weather Day

Here are some pictures of Grace dancing in the rain last Thursday. She was yelling, "I'M DANCING IN THE RAIN!!!" over and over, and had a blast. What made the rain so special? It was raining off and on all day, and at this moment the skies were partly-cloudy... and it was raining on the right side of our deck, but not the left, for about 5 minutes, while the sun was shiny and warm. The weirdest part? Later that night it got colder and it snowed quite a bit. At about 11:00, during the steady snowfall, we had about half an hour of super-bright lightning and very loud thunder... I thought maybe I'd just had a sheltered life, but a few friends said they'd never experienced a thunder-snow storm either.

Hey Megan!

I just had to let you know that I experienced my first thunder-snow storm at the beginning of March here in St. Paul, MN. A group of us seminary students were outside sledding in the snow, and the next thing we knew, it was thundering. It was really cool!

May God bless your family as you await the arrival of Koch #4!!!
